QA Engineer
About The Position
Cellebrite is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to help test the next generation of Digital Forensics Software. As a QA Engineer, you will work embedded with development in an Agile environment helping to craft software used by law enforcement and businesses around the world. You will work in a fast-paced environment with highly distributed teams across the nation.
What you will do:
- Help design and implement automated testing for forensic software
- Use Jenkins to implement and manage test runs
- Develop strategies to minimize regression testing time by automating laborious tests
- Assist when needed with manual testing to ensure release schedules remain intact
- Work with other QA team members to define overall testing strategies and workflows for a suite of digital forensic products
- Work closely with developers noting defects and needed enhancements while testing features
- Work with a highly distributed team with members across the nation
- Work as a member of an agile team
- Work with Product Management to define conditions of acceptance for new features
- Create and execute test cases to validate software functionality
- Design and execute performance and scalability tests
- Work on multiple platforms such as Mac, Windows, and Linux
Requirements
What you need:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or similar) or equivalent experience
- Experience with Python or similar programming language
- Familiarity using Jenkins and Pipelines to run automated testing
- Extreme attention to detail, as we test software that is used during court testimony
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- 3-5 years working in the software industry in Development or Quality Assurance
- Ability to work remote with team members spread across the country
- Aptitude working on multiple platforms, with multiple technologies
What we would like:
- Strong knowledge of configuring and working with various operating systems
- Prior history working in the Digital Forensics or eDiscovery field
Knowledge of:
- Jira
- Confluence
- Slack
This position is eligible for remote working within the U.S.
