Cellebrite end-to-end solution
Proven solution for driving subscriptions to Over-The-Air (OTA) mobile applications
End-to-End is a unique integration of Cellebrite’s Universal Memory Exchanger (UME) with additional services for the mobile retail POS market.
Designed to impact sales of mobile phones and services, The Cellebrite’s End-to-End solution has proven to be the most effective driver of subscriptions to OTA services.
While many mobile operators offer OTA applications and services, with Cellebrite’s End-to-End, registration to new services is almost automatic. Subscriptions to OTA applications soar because they are fully integrated with the sales process and tied to sales of new phones.
End-to-End (E2E) data transfer & OTA backup: how it works
While the UME is transferring subscriber content from the old phone to the new phone, it can register the customer to the OTA service, install the OTA client on a new phone and send the data to the OTA server.
- Once the customer has chosen a new phone, the sales representative recommends backing up the customer’s content in addition to transferring it to the new phone.
- Internet connectivity is required for integration of OTA backup with phone-to-phone data transfer. While the content is being transferred to the new phone, it is also sent to the OTA server via the internet.
- The OTA client is installed on the customer’s new phone.
- Upon completion, the OTA service sends an SMS to the customer’s new phone with a web address where customers can login to view and manage their backed up content.
