Cellebrite, which provides mobile phone synchronization and management systems has deployed its of UME-36 back-up device to around 1,000 Telefónica O2 retail outlets in Germany. Customers can now transfer their content automatically from one mobile to another in a few minutes in store, using the device, free of charge. The service will also be available for non-O2 customers for a nominal fee. O2 is branding the service ‘My Contacts’. Read the whole article

A new service from the mobile operator O2 provides the subscribers in Germany higher levels of customer service and protection for their cell phone content. In cooperation with the software company Cellebrite - a the leading provider of cell phone synchronization and management systems, both companies announced the deplyment of UME-36 devices in all shops of Telefónica O2 Germany.
So in O2 shops throughout Germany, customers can now transfer their telephone content automatically from one mobile to another in a few minutes with Cellebrite's UME-36. From April, this new service is already available free of charge to all O2 subscribers in around 1000 retail outlets throughout Germany. The service is called O2 My Contacts. Read the whole article
