On-The-Spot Content Transfer While Upgrading a Mobile Phone

CelleBrite's UME-36Pro provides Mobile Operators with the ability to offer swift transfer of cell phone data when upgrading a user's phone. The UME-36Pro makes it possible to move or transfer phonebook contacts and multimedia content such as pictures, SMS messages, video and other valued paid-for content. This includes ring tones and music files from one handset to another regardless of the mobile phones make, model or technology. This on-the-spot content transfer ability results in improved customer satisfaction, higher customer retention and increased customer loyalty.

Enhanced Value-Added Services (VAS)

With CelleBrite solutions, Mobile Operators can offer advanced mobile data backup and restoration services at the Point-of-Sale (POS) by sending all mobile data to a backup server. These solutions can be offered as add-on service to the customer, providing new revenue generation source for which many users are willing to pay extra for a backup and restoration service that safeguards their personal content.

Migration to 3rd Generation

CelleBrite's UME-36Pro contains simple, quick and easy-to-use features that assist easy migration for 2G customers to new 3G mobile phones. With CelleBrite's UME-36Pro you transfer all their phone data (SIM and phone stored) to the 3rd generation phone. The UME-36Pro contains an internal SIM Reader that supports 2G and 3G SIM cards and enables copying 2G SIM content to 3G SIM (USIM).
Once the source and target phones have been defined on the UME, It automatically performs the 2G to 3G conversion.

The UME-36Pro is a portable mobile data transfer solution that enables Mobile Operators to increase customer retention by offering superior levels of service such as VIP on-site data transfer services for individual and corporate customers as listed below:

Individual Subscriber On-Site Mobile Phone Data Transfer
Customer service representatives are able to perform phone content transfer from one mobile phone to another at an individual subscriber's preferred location.
Because UME-36Pro is a portable stand-alone device, the representative needs only to define the source and target phones and attach the phones via cables or other connectivity option (IrDA, Bluetooth) to the UME and the data transfer proceeds.

Corporate On-Site Data Transfer Service

Secure and Safe Data Transfer and Backup Process.
The UME-36Pro protects customer privacy by securely transferring content without exposing confidential information to non-authorized personnel.
The UME does not store any information in its internal memory. No record is kept at the end of the data transfer process.

OTA Connectivity

CelleBrite's UME solution can easily become the “missing link” to the network for those cellular phones that are not Over-The-Air (OTA) compatible, enabling the transfer of customer contact and content from or to the customer's phone. At least 60% of all phones do not yet have OTA-compatible functionality, thus the UME solution is ideal for dramatically increasing the use of OTA connectivity for older cellular phones and for new ones that are not OTA-enabled.

The CelleBrite UME solution integrates with all existing OTA solutions to enable the transfer of data from the customer's mobile phone to the Operator's network. It can be integrated into existing infrastructure, such as any network or OTA-based architecture. Content and contact information collected by the UME at the Point-of-Sale and can be transferred to the UME Statistics and Report Tool and Backup & Restore Server and then transferred to a customer's network via the backbone or using the customer's existing OTA capabilities.

Overcoming Prefix Changes and Number Portability

CelleBrite's UME-36Pro is designed to automatically change and update the prefix of all numbers stored in a customer's phonebook according to a predefined numbering plan required by the Telecom regulations.

For example:
In the transfer process, you can configure all numbers beginning with the prefix 088 to be changed automatically to a new prefix such as 0887.
